I arrived in Germany, but the wine isn't here yet

we may be on a Semillon/Cardonay hunt tomorrow

Went shopping to various supermarkets and couldn't find the wine, and the one I posted (a week ago) hasn't arrived yet....maye tomorrow, if not there are two more shops to try

its really cold here, and it started to snow while we were out ;(

I'm not a white wine drinker (normally) so I hope to be converted this evening

With this particular wine, if you have it refrigerated, I would suggest taking it out of the fridge about 30-60 minutes before tasting it.

I had a glass of this in a restaurant last night. I won't give you my impression of it as it may alter your own perceptions, but I will say that they served it too cold. Warming up a bit made a difference in the taste and nose.

Just wanted to thank everyone once again for listening to me talk about BrewTrax at the meeting.
Also, an even bigger thank you for all the nice feedback from people using the software and all the suggestions for new features/changes to be added to future versions.
Just to say that all suggestions are now in a nice big spreadsheet along with PM's and e-mails with other suggestions.
Next release is due in a few weeks. I'll publish th release date and what is being added in the next version ASAP

Hmmm, looks like 2007 and 2008 vintage available in the supermarkets here. I don't think a vintage was specified at the meeting. My shopping is coming tomorrow from Tesco and i have ordered a bottle so I will see what vintage comes. It may be 2008 though.

Sainsbury's got 2006 vintage for £6.85.. until 8/3/11

Right, my wine has just been delivered (Tesco) and I also have a 2007 Vintage now. Hopefully we'll settle on the 2007 then. If not I'll be forced to drink this one and find whatever vintage is decided on
